We are currently seeking an experienced Senior SAP FI Leader, a pivotal role within our organization. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Applications, this high-impact position involves leading a dedicated team focused on enhancing and streamlining our finance-related IT applications, with a strong emphasis on SAP Financials.

 

What will you be doing as Senior SAP FI/CO Leader?

  • SAP FI Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge in SAP FI (Financial Accounting) to manage and optimize finance, controlling, reporting, and treasury applications. Spearhead the integration of SAP FI with other modules and external systems to enhance financial operations.
  • Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of professionals and manage collaborations with external SAP consultants, ensuring effective delivery of finance IT solutions.
  • Innovation and Strategy: Drive the identification and implementation of new technologies and SAP best practices within the finance domain. Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for SAP finance applications, focusing on innovation and efficiency.
  • Project Management: Lead complex SAP projects from conception through to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals. Your expertise in project management methodologies will be critical in delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison between IT and finance departments, ensuring clear communication and understanding of IT investments' value. Engage with senior business leaders to align IT strategies with financial goals.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the budgeting and allocation of resources for finance IT initiatives, maximizing ROI and ensuring efficient use of investments.

 

Who are you?

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years’ experience in finance processes and SAP FI, with a proven track record of leading finance IT initiatives and managing teams.
  • SAP Proficiency: Deep expertise in SAP Financials, with a strong understanding of financial planning and reporting systems.
  • Project Management: Solid experience in managing IT projects, with certifications in project management highly regarded.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English; German language skills are a significant plus.
  • Leadership Qualities: A structured approach, driven for excellence, and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and project delivery.
