Deputy Safety Manager - from 50%

Charged of carrying out and attaining the missions and the goals of the department as follow:

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Monitor and advise on all SFS safety activities which may have an impact on flight and ground safety;


• Establish and managing the SFS hazard identification, risk assessment with mitigations and tracking
  system;


• Develop, monitor and promote safety culture within the company;


• Monitor industry flight safety concerns which may have an impact on operations;


• Develop and maintain the SFS SMS and Emergency Response Plan;


• Analyse hazard reports, identify safety concerns and make recommendations on appropriate mitigation;


• Investigate and report incidents/accidents and make recommendations on corrective action to the Safety
  Board;


• Make recommendations to the Accountable Manager on matters pertaining to the Safety Management
  System;


• Conduct periodic evaluations of the Safety Management System and report the results to management;


• Actively be part of company Manuals establishment and updating;


• Other administrative and/or operational tasks/projects according to Company needs.

PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES

• An in-depth working knowledge in the field of International Civil Aviation Regulations and Swiss Air Law,
  with operational experience as a flight crew member,


• Experience in aviation management,


• Certificate of training in Safety Management Systems, human factors, Emergency Response Planning
  and already assessed as SMM/DSMM by a NAA are strong assets,


• Proficient use of Microsoft office tools,


• French and English proficient and fluent, German or other European languages is a plus,


• Excellent reputation with clean criminal record and extract from the debt collection register certificates,


• Excellent diplomacy and communication skills,


• Solution-oriented and able to work independently,


• Based in Neuchatel canton or willing to relocate,


• Swiss or European Citizen.
