About the role

Switzerland is an important chocolate market with a lot of potential within Western Europe. In this role you are responsible to lead a team of two Sales support and Customer care agents and to define the vision and strategy to be successful in serving the Swiss customers. You are encouraged to set up new ways of working to materialize the potential of the Swiss market. Always with an overall ambition to significantly grow volume and margin of customers.

You will report to Sales Director DACH and will have 2 direct reports.

 

Key responsibilities include


  • You achieve volume and margin budgets of existing and actively add new customers

  • You keep an overall perspective of the business and interact with the other Key Account Managers in DACH and Western Europe

  • You develop/adapt the sales strategy and create a platform to serve the customers and capture new potentials (through retail approach, partnerships, new value approach...)

  • You develop plans per product category in alignment with marketing, R&D and specialty & decorations organization.

  • You contribute to forecast and validation meetings

  • You organize yourself to do good follow up of opportunities and R&D projects.

  • In a business to business context you and your team will interact with confectionery, bakery, dairy and ice cream customers.

  • You contribute to the overall performance of DACH and act as a real teamplayer.

  • You continuously look for ways to increase efficiency for yourself, your team and BC

  • You actively increase own professional knowledge/ expertise and manage your relations and stakeholders within the BC Schweiz organization and at other departments of BC


 


Qualifications


  • Bachelor Degree in Economics or commerce related field, technical background is a plus

  • 5+ years commercial working experience

  • Specific business understanding & market know-how of food industry

  • Experience in Leadership

  • High self reflection, self starting and strong in virtual collaboration

  • Knowledgeable in MS Office Suite

  • Fluency in German and English
