Tasks

  • Develop comprehensive claim strategies-for customers,-suppliers,-and consortium partners
  • Conduct thorough claim analysis,-formulate-defence strategies,-and prepare-counterclaims-with supporting documentation
  • Present risk and opportunity assessments-to stakeholders and-define overall project claim strategies
  • Negotiate and settle contracts and claims-collaboratively with the Project Manager
  • Proactively support projects,-site,-procurement,-and other teams in-protecting Hitachi Energy's contractual rights
  • Draft and amend project documents-such as change orders and contracts
  • Scrutinize terms and conditions-of various agreements-during tendering-to ensure alignment, ensuring proper risk and opportunity management from a contract management perspective during the tender preparation
  • Support the tendering team with risk reviews during tender phase

Requirements

  • Law degree or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 5 year- experience in contract management in the execution of EPC energy projects or similar industrial facilities
  • Experience in on-site contract management will be preferred
  • Successful experience of working in international teams and with international partners
  • Proven expertise in change management,-claims management,-and contract-related legal issues,-especially with regards to their impact on proposals and project execution
  • Ability to navigate and adapt to different cultural situations while adhering to ethical conduct guidelines
  • Proven track record of working systematically and maintaining a structured work style
  • Fluency in English and German for negotiations,-with additional languages considered an advantage
