Regional Business Development and Strategy Implementation Lead - Europe (f/m/d)


In our Global Product Group – Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Service, we are constantly evolving and improving our offerings and solutions to be able to offer our customers the full benefit of our technology and innovation, within highly effective Business Models that would support our Global customers achieve their energy needs while improving efficiency, saving resources and reducing emissions.  

Working within the Hub Europe of the Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Service Product Group, you will support the Management team to increase our marketing and business intelligence and penetration, and implementing our Strategy by continuously interfacing with the various departments within the Global Product Group and Operating Units within the Hub Europe.
You will report to the Head of Marketing & Sales of Hub Europe and will drive the Business Development and Strategy Implementation within the Hub Europe, System Integration Unit, to serve our customers and the growing market.   

Your responsibilities

  • You work with the key Customers, Markets and Segments to further develop our relationship and promote our strategy to ensure that we best serve our customer’s needs

  • You will participate in Key Customer meeting to support the roll-out of our portfolio and ensure we understand customer needs while working on solutions that fit our portfolio

  • You will roll-out and implement business models and long term partnership with the aim of securing the best solutions for our customer within the portfolio offered

  • You will work with our Segment Leaders and local Marketing & Sales teams introduce mechanisms such as Frame Agreement and Capacity Reservation Agreements for securing opportunities while ensuring that are able to fulfill customers requirement from delivery times, optimized technical solutions and business models that will enable best value for our Customers and Hitachi Energy

  • You will work with the various Business Units within Hitachi Energy and our Supply Chain Management on the strategy to fulfill our customers requirement and build models for monitoring the key deliverables while prioritizing our activities with common transparent planning

  • You will emphasize on building collaboration towards achieving common goals for the organization

  • You will work with the Hub EU team and the Global Centers of Competence to develop plans for rolling out our Global strategy while fulfilling our local customers needs and addressing market constraints

Your background

  • A degree in Engineering, Business or Management or other relevant subjects

  • Between 5 to 8 years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Operations roles with similar responsibilities and experience within the Electrical and Power Industry

  • Experience in meeting customers at all Management and Operative levels, building confidence to present the company portfolio while working on solutions

  • Travel in Europe – up to 50%

  • Experiences in working in a multicultural environment, across different regions

  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills
