The Global Corporate Events Project Manager & Cost controller will play a critical role in ensuring that all Cruise Division Global Corporate Events (MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys) are managed efficiently and cost-effectively. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of financial and project management expertise, as well as excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a passion for delivering exceptional financial performance.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive cost control strategy for Global Corporate Events that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.

• Develop and maintain budgets for Global Corporate Events, for both MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Procurement and Ground Operation, to optimize costs and improve efficiency.

• Makes all the purchase orders in relation to the organization of the events.

• Analyse data and generate reports to support decision-making and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies to ensure successful project execution.

• Support the project delivery timelines and priorities to help ensure all projects are delivered efficiently and on time.

• Travel for onsite inspections and project supporting events.

• Ensure excellent guest service and quality delivery.

• Fluent English (oral and written). Any other European language is an advantage.

• At least 3+ years’ experience in project management, financial management and cost control principles and practices.

• Very good knowledge of IT.

• Committed, flexible, able to roll up her/his sleeves, with an unshakeable can-do attitude.

• PC Skills, Excel (windows offices a must).

• Motivated and proactive individual with multitasking abilities, teamwork and ability to work under pressure.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders and to coordinate complex tasks.

• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs in a complex and challenging environment.

EU Passport or Right to work in Switzerland.
