Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Data & Analytics (1 year temporary contract)

VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Data & Analytics to join our Supply Chain Centre of Excellence (SC COE) EMEA Team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role

The Supply Chain Center of Excellence (SC COE) Data & Analytics Team helps the Supply Chain Community in creating and extracting meaning from large volumes of data to make the right business decisions. The team acts as key contributor in support of both EMEA SC Brand Teams and EMEA SC Central Functions in make smarter business decisions through newly created Reporting/Analytics Solutions.

We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Data & Analytics to join the team and support in “business as usual” reporting preparation, validation and distribution, as well as to enhance / create new reporting solutions through a structured project approach from requirement gathering to final release to stakeholders.

How You Will Make a Difference

Day-by-Day Reporting

  • Support the preparation of the weekly reporting to be distributed to Supply Chain Management and to the Brands (i.e. SC KPIs Summary, Coverage and Conversion, Out of Zone Sales, …)
  • Support SC COE colleagues with ad-hoc analysis when required

Analytics Tool and Solutions

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Management (Cross-Function) and other business stakeholders to identify analytics requirements and make recommendations for the strategic vision for Supply Chain Analytics
  • Design, develop and deploy reports, analysis, tools and dashboards (in particular using Tableau and Power BI) to monitor the performance and efficiency of Supply Chain Functions
  • Collaborate with Digital & Technology Data Analytics and Business Intelligence functions to bring live new Analytics models/solutions
  • Train internal customers on the use of tools and reports created and deployed
  • Be part of corporate projects and initiatives, mainly focusing on Data and/or Analytics area
  • Accountable for high-quality deliverables preparation
  • Support the SC Data & Analytics BPO in reviewing and approving Business Requirement Documents related to new Analytics/Reporting requests coming from Brands/Functions in Supply Chain Area

Data & Technical Enablement

  • Raise the detailed requests on new data ingestion & enhancement
  • Represent Supply Chain team in providing feedback to Digital & Technology teams for building up integrated analytics solutions
  • Ensure accuracy and transparency of all data shared across central functions and brands

Skills for Success

  • Education: University Degree in in Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics
  • Supply Chain Experience: at least 1 year of experience in a fast paced & highly responsive Supply Chain environment
  • Data & Analytics Experience: minimum 2 years
  • Reporting Tools: basic knowledge of IBM Cognos 11
  • Dashboarding Tools: good knowledge of MS Power BI (or Tableau)
  • Language skills: Good English language – both written and verbal
  • Passionate for insight-driven thinking, can extract patterns from volumes of data to drive insights & operational efficiencies
  • Problem-solving skills, ability to provide structure in ambiguous situation
  • Strong attention to detail & commitment to drive data accuracy
  • Strong communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Strong Team Player
  • Ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously, manage tight deadlines and flexible to change priorities when required
