Your responsibility

• Identify, evaluate and quantify potential new areas of growth in line with the Life Reinsurance strategy and development plan
• Drive, in collaboration with Underwriting, Pricing, and Medical Underwriting, the development of clear and comprehensive reinsurance product propositions in selected markets. For a given proposition this includes:

• Determining standard market practices and contract terms
• Generating suitable mortality and morbidity pricing inputs
• Assessing the services to be provided and determining how these may be delivered
• Assessing the competitive landscape and determining suitable business development approaches
• Ensuring that effective management of the in-force portfolio is possible
• Support the Underwriting team in generating sustainable growth
• Develop external relationships and partnerships suitable for supporting future proposition development

Your qualification

• Accreditation as a fellow in a globally recognised actuarial association
• 7+ years of relevant experience in L&H pricing, underwriting or business development.
• Analytical mindset, developed problem-solving skills.
• Team player with the ability to integrate in a highly qualified team demonstrating a high level of commitment and motivation.
• Open to new ways of thinking and passionate about continuous learning.
• Willingness to travel and ability to build and maintain relationships with international stakeholders.
• Fluent in English. Additional languages will be an advantage.
