POSITION SUMMARY

The Director Marketing, International is responsible for developing strategies and tactics for the International Precision Oncology business, reporting to the Head of Marketing, International. This role will develop and execute the plan in partnership with the International and local marketing teams and support marketing data analytics to drive data driven decisions, and will participate in operational planning and lead the tactical plan across multiple channels.

The Director Marketing is a key member of the Commercial Management Team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:

  • Coordinate the development of the operational and tactical annual plan for the brand, working closely with marketing colleagues in US, International and countries as well as other stakeholders.
  • Ensures alignment on marketing strategy, the product positioning, the messaging, and plans among Country Managers, Medical  Affairs, Market Access and the key stakeholders.
  • Support/drive the evolution of brand campaigns.
  • Lead the development of multi-channel marketing and communications strategies and plans to support the International business.
  • Ensure the product positioning, messaging, and product campaign is effectively integrated into the all promotional assets.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to continually gain a deeper understanding of the market and customer needs.
  • Liaise directly and manage the relationships with various external groups; including service vendors, agency partners, and Societies/organizations.
  • Ensure coordinated efforts for training of field force partnering with Commercial Excellences team and Country / Sales Managers.
  • Work with the Global PO team to shape the product strategy (LCM plan, report updates).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Marketing, Brand Management and Sales.
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams (direct reports).
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of German and other European languages is a plus.
  • Experience working in an oncology or diagnostics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to be perceived as a leader without having direct authority.

  • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Ability to travel 50% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
  • Location: Zug (Switzerland).
