As Product Service Sales Specialist you will support the spare parts business in Service portfolio of ABB customers within the Process Industries division in Baden-Dättwil, Switzerland. By helping to drive sales volumes and margins across the Service product portfolio, you regularly update the database with changes made on-site. Reporting to the Product Service Sales Team Lead, you will play a critical role in executing the service sales strategy with a focus on penetrating the installed base and promoting recommended and critical spare parts, tools and spare parts solutions, demonstrating additional value to the specific customer.

Your responsibilities

  • Utilizing the database to grasp the existing installed base, and identifying and developing sales opportunities
  • Establishing long-term customer relationships, reacting immediately to issues and demonstrating in technical knowledge of products
  • Communicating contract details in accordance with ABB offerings and strategy, and managing associated administrative sales processes
  • Preparing and reviewing sales plans and proposing recovery actions when needed
  • Promoting ABB’s service products and solutions in marketing activities and customer meetings while monitoring trends to develop effective marketing activities

Your background

  • Experience in the field of Sales/Marketing and sound knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • High customer and solution orientation, paired with a communicative personality and ability to interact with different stakeholders
  • Hands-on and problem-solving mentality to challenge “status quo”
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration with technical basis
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% internationally
  • Fluency in English and German, Spanish as well as other languages are an advantage
