Job Description

Responsible for local laboratory IT-Infrastructure and technical support in validation projects (CSV) in compliance with local quality systems, corporate policies and relevant regulations.

  • Periodic maintenance and monitoring of laboratory IT Infrastructure
  • Coordination of IT activities in collaboration with SGS Corporate IT and SGS Health Science Business IT
  • Qualification of computerized systems and IT infrastructure
  • Technical support in computerized system validation projects (CSV)
  • IT Business continuity & disaster recovery, backup and restore
  • Change and incidence management and technical documentation (e.g. SOP)
  • Archive of electronic data according to GXP principles
  • Participation in inspections and audits

Qualifications

  • Apprenticeship or bachelor/master’s degree in Life Science
  • Experience in Information Technologyand regulated environment (GMP/GLP)
  • Experience as system administrator in Windows Desktop/Server
  • Experienced user of MS SQL will be of advantage
  • Fluent in German language (writing and speaking)
  • Proficient skills in English language (writing and speaking)
  • Team player with hands-on mentality
  • Accurate operations
  • Willingness to take on responsibility
  • Good organizational and communication skills

  • This is a full-time position and will be based in Birsfelden.
