Pictet Alternative Advisors is a leading alternative investment specialist with expertise in hedge funds, private equity and global real estate. The Geneva- and London-based team constructs, manages and advises on portfolios of alternative investment solutions for institutional and private clients.


 


The Group has strong development ambitions for Pictet Alternative Advisors for the coming years, notably to expand its product offering to include additional asset classes and to further develop its institutional client base. In view of these developments, Pictet Alternative Advisors is looking to hire a Private Equity Intern to steer its development. You will assist investment managers in their daily activities and participate in various analysis and support tasks.


Your role



  • Assisting investment managers in the following tasks:

    • identification and monitoring of investment opportunities,

    • analysis of the opportunities selected and due diligence of private equity funds, secondary transactions and co-investments,

    • monitoring of investments.



  • Analysing the various trends of the private equity industry.


Your profile



  • Training in finance/accounting/economics in process; ideally already holding or in the final year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree.

  • Minimum 6 months experience in Private Equity, M&A or Transaction Services.

  • Excellent modeling & MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent at managing priorities, solving problems and coming up with innovative solutions.

  • A desire to make customer satisfaction your priority.

  • Fluent English and another European language.

  • Residence in Switzerland or willing to relocate.


 


Conscientious, thorough and organised, you have good analytical and deductive skills. You are trustworthy, flexible in a continually changing environment, and a team player. You are also motivated and able to work on your own; and you want to join a team of demanding professionals in an environment that allows you to put your initiative, commitment, discretion and ethics into practice.
