YOUR CHALLENGES

  • Heading a small global team in the matrix organization and setting out procedures, processes frameworks
  • Develop and implement supplier Environmental, Social and Governance and RBA compliance programs, including the identification and monitoring of key ESG performance indicators.
  • Work with suppliers to improve their ESG performance and compliance with RBA requirements such as the Code of Conduct and the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI).
  • Conduct supplier ESG assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as procurement, legal, and compliance teams to ensure that supplier ESG and RBA considerations are integrated into procurement and contracting processes.
  • Monitor and report on supplier ESG and RBA compliance to internal and external stakeholders e.g. Malaysia and Romania, including investors, regulators, and customers.
  • Lead efforts to stay up-to-date on ESG and RBA regulations and standards, and ensure that suppliers are compliant with all relevant requirements.
  • Provide ESG training and education to internal staff and suppliers to raise awareness and promote best practices.
  • Support sustainability reporting, including the preparation of ESG disclosures, reports, and other communications related to supplier ESG and RBA compliance.

YOURCOMPETENCIES

  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, sustainability, or business administration.
  • At least 8 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or corporate responsibility, with a focus on supplier ESG and RBA compliance.
  • Knowledge of ESG and RBA regulations and standards, including the Code of Conduct and the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI).
  • Experience in conducting supplier ESG assessments, audits, or due diligence, and in using ESG frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) or other commonly used ESG frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others, and to drive change within the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and communication, including the ability to build relationships and negotiate agreements with suppliers and other stakeholders.
