Your responsibilities
* Leads technical project work for the AOCS Subsystem in consultation with the technical project manager and coordinates or supports the project work in the areas of mission definition, AOCS, Software and testing
* Examines the existing definition of configurations and interfaces and divides them among subsystems
* Analyses technical risks and problems, develops appropriate solutions, and coordinates them with the project team
* Plans, coordinates, and supports the technical project work in the areas of mission definition, AOCS definition, Software development and testing with the aim of achieving a robust design
* Identifies and eliminates inconsistencies
* Maintains direct contact with customers and suppliers in consultation with the project manager.
* Provides input to and prepares development, assembly, integration, and test plans, makes test evaluations
* Coordinates and reviews the execution of tests
* Reviews/prepares technical reports and specifications in English
* Prepares and presents (internally and externally) technical presentations and attends meetings
* Prepares technical quotations for major projects
* Ensures delivery of data packages in due time
Your Profile
* Education in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, minimum FH level
* Experience with space engineering, subsystems design, development, verification, and testing
* Broad understanding, competence and experience in Engineering processes, tools, interfaces, and methodologies
* Active team player, creative and open-minded, strong communicative skills
* Fluent in English, German is an advantage
* Broad engineering background in Aerospace Engineering is an advantage
* Engineering know-how in AOCS Subsystem related technologies (AOCS, Electronics, Propulsion & Satellite operations) is a nice to have
