As a Product Manager in Grinding & Dispersing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our machinery product line. You will be responsible for driving product strategy, overseeing product development and ensuring the successful launch and lifecycle management of our machines and corresponding services. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and operations, you will champion the voice of the customer and translate market insights into actionable plans to drive product success.

Tasks

  • Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
  • Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Develop and execute product strategies / business plans that align with company goals and market demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and oversee the product development process from concept to launch.
  • Work closely with marketing to develop go-to-market plans, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials.
  • Train the global sales and customer success teams to provide the necessary technical expertise to drive product adoption, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and iterate on product strategies to optimize product success and customer satisfaction.

Required qualifications

  • Higher Degree in engineering, economics and/or product management
  • Proven work experience in product management, preferably in the machinery or manufacturing industry
  • Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and to create followers in order to drive change
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking/understanding
  • Exceptional (and autonomous) problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in German and in English

  • Know-how of the wet grinding market
  • Strong 'Can-Do-Attitude', solution and result oriented, committed to performance
  • Highly dedicated to quality, reliability, flexibility, and self-reliance
  • Willingness to travel ~ 20% for training needs and market proximity
