Job Description

The mission of the Domain Expert - Hardware is to support Toradex regional FAE Team (Field Application Engineers Team) around the world and Toradex customers who want to use our products and designing their own carrier boards and products. Support is executed in different approaches, from direct customer interactions over e-mails and calls, to development of documentation, application demos and speeches for conferences. 

Roles & Responsibilities 

Your daily motivation is ensuring customer success and satisfaction. You do this by building close relationships with customer engineering teams and Regional Customer Success Teams. You also play a pivotal role in conveying customer feedback and needs to our product management teams.

• Understand customer needs and advise on system design in regards to hardware implementation
• Provide technical support to Toradex customers
• Track customer use cases
• Support Toradex product management team with customer information and requirements about certifications, used interfaces, design challenges, pain points and others
• Support local application teams with training, support and escalating bugs and feature requests
• Design and validate demo products and accessories
• Increase customers' satisfaction with precise and efficient technical support
• Raise the bar at Toradex; help improve Toradex and our team’s excellence

Desired Candidate Profile 

• Knowledge of Designing Embedded Products with focus on Embedded Electronic Boards including Component selection, Schematics Capturing and PCB routing (multi-layer)
• Knowledge of products international certifications and standards for Vibration, EMC, Radio, CE and others
• Motivated to continuously analyze & improve the product, the team and own performance
• Experience with board bring-up
• Basic Embedded Linux systems knowledge
• Excellent English language skills (reading, writing & speaking), German is a plus
