We are looking for a UX / UI Designer to join our product team to help us design the user-centric applications that make up our product offering. It starts Immediately or by arrangement. It is an exciting role in an impactful team where you are part of strategic decision-making and take responsibility from day one.

We are usually in the office three days a week and two days working from home. Additionally, working from other places can be possible depending on the tasks and mutual agreement.

The role

We are looking for a UX / UI Designer to create state-of-the-art user experiences in our mobile app, web apps, websites, and other interactive interfaces that our partners and users access while using the phygital collectID products. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business developers to discover user needs and design products that meet and exceed them.

Responsibilities

• Envision a consistent UX experience and apply it throughout our products.


• Create modern, user-oriented designs and craft experiences that resonate with users on an emotional level.


• Drive exceptional user experiences that captivate and delight our clients and users.


• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, development, and business, to uncover user needs, conduct experimentations, and design solutions that meet them.

• Increase feature adoption rates by crafting and adapting interfaces encouraging engaging users with phygital goods.


• Conduct usability testing to gather user feedback and iterate on design for optimal performance; continuously optimize designs based on data-driven insights.


• Actively research emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on product design.


• Follow the latest market trends and ensure ZATAP app stays on the cutting edge of UX / UI.


• Advise clients on our best practices for integrations and related user experiences.

 

Personal attributes

• Experience in one or more of the following: Design Thinking, mobile, and web development.


• Passion for sports and/or fashion.


• Fluent oral and written German skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.


• Three years of work experience as a UI / UX designer or in a related role.


• Portfolio of UI / UX design work for mobile and web platforms.


• Excellent knowledge of Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tool sets.


• Excellent organizational and communication skills 


• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders.


• Attention to detail.


• Ability to be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in one or more of the following: Design Thinking, mobile, and web development.


• Passion for sports and/or fashion.


• Fluent oral and written German skills.
