Purpose and general Overview
The Project Management Officer (PMO) develops the projects structures and frameworks, providing support to deal captains to ensure the delivery of projects in respect of time, budget and quality. The PMO will be responsible of the day-to-day management of projects, working closely with the Management Team and the projects leaders, and reporting to the Head of Finance and Operations to ensure the monitoring of projects’ revenues and costs at the different stages of the project lifecycle.
As the PMO, you will spearhead the project management function to ensure the successful delivery of professional services to clients. Your responsibilities encompass overseeing compliance, planning, execution, and optimization of projects while aligning operations with the company’s objectives and client needs.
You will establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and processes to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
At the post deal process, the PMO’s duty is to ensure Peaceinvest delivers on its responsibilities and to follow up on internal key indicators.
Duties and Responsabilities
o Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) ;
o Generate project reporting (leading and lagging key performance indicators) to measure project performance and the overall effectiveness of the PMO;
o Analyze data to drive improvements and make data-driven decisions;
o Manage projects actual and forecasted budget.
o Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including executives, project teams, and external partners. Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and potential issues;
o Ability to distill complex information into digestible content for stakeholders at all levels;
o "Uncomfortable" with ambiguity - seeks out ambiguity and turns fuzzy requirements or updates into clear communications;
o Anticipates project risks, issues and needs before they materialize;
o Identify potential risks and proactively develop risk mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all project activities.
o Create and maintain PMO frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
o Establish project management standards, templates and governance processes
o Ensure consistency and quality across all projects;
o Documents how the project is managed, controlled, verified and communicated to the project team, stakeholders and customers.
o Implement robust quality assurance processes to maintain service quality standards.
o Conduct periodic reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with service-level commitments.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, Law, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
