Guidewire System Analyst
(Policy Center, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)

Your responsibilities:
  • Define, document and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications taking into account non-functional requirements Support testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing

  • Support and contribute to project management activities by participating in the scoping and estimating of project efforts, risks identification and mitigation measures recommendation, communicating activity status and providing timely notification and escalation of possible issues/problems to the Project Manager

  • Support collaboration with key stakeholders to determine solutions, assess impact to existing work processes and systems, and how to manage the integration

  • Perform work on all aspects of the system analyst process from end to end

  • Advise clients and colleagues with your technical know-how

  • Support and guidance for developers in configuration and development tasks

Your qualifications:
  • In depth experience with Guidewire, especially around the Policy Center

  • 6-8 years relevant systems integration experience and at least 2-4 of years specific Guidewire suite of products and the P&C domain of insurers

  • Technical experience in processes related to Policy Center, Claims Center and Billing Center of Guidewire

  • Knowing JIRA (and similar tools) and experience in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies in Guidewire projects

  • Highly analytical and structured in problem solving; able to quickly understand complex situations

  • Education in Information Systems and Management, Computer Science or Business Administration with outstanding record of academic achievement

  • Excellent spoken and written English and German

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with clients and colleagues

  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and team leadership skills
