IT Strategic Procurement

In this exciting role you will support the IT category strategy development and implementation, as well as supporting the Global Category Manager in supplier development activities, sourcing projects, specification definition and demand management.



 



Main tasks and responsibilities



 



Category sourcing plan:



  • Support in analysis of supply market, understanding products/services being purchased within category, understanding internal demand/specification and external best practices

  • Identify and analyse strategic sourcing options under the guidance of the Global Category Manager

  • Run/support tender process, including seeking approvals from Global Category Manager, Head Indirect Procurement and other internal stakeholders, as required

  • Challenge demand/user requirements

  • Harmonize specification(s) with business stakeholders to standardize demand

 



Contract Development:



  • Create negotiation plan and support Global Category Manager with supplier negotiations

  • Ensure adherence to the DOA

 



Contract Lifecycle Management:



  • Conduct supplier compliance reviews (i.e. use of supplier within sites, payment terms in system)

  • Monitor supplier performance (i.e. contract KPI’s, price)

  • Support contract compliance (i.e. restricted party screening, financial checks, conflict of interest checks, forced labour, embargoed countries, etc.)

  • Support local LE compliance to Global contracts, including communication

 



Your profile:



 



  • Educated to degree level in Business Administration or related subjects or relevant work experience

  • 5+ years work experience in a purchasing role with a focus on relevant categories

  • Broad up to date IT market, vendor and technology knowledge

  • Understanding of key sourcing processes and tools as well as contractual and legal aspects

  • Fluent in English, German an advantage

  • Good analytical and conceptual skills combined with the ability to drive results

  • Experience in demand management, sourcing and negotiations of: IT Software / IT Service  and Outsourcing / Telecom (Data line, Mobile) / IT Hardware

  • Sourcing Experiences in Microsoft, Salesforce and / or similary complex contracts 

  • Ability to influence others and align various interests

  • Proactive, target oriented and assertive personality with strong presentation skills

  • Manage and adhere to timelines on assigned projects and tasks

  • Ability to negotiate legal and commercial contractual aspects
