Compounding Manufacturing–

Your next role?


As a Junior Process Engineer Compounding Manufacturing and in collaboration with the Production team, you will support the fragrance manufacturing operations and focus on delivering the company’s objectives within corporate guidelines and local policies.


Reporting to the Compounding Production Process Engineer, your main responsibilities will be the following:


Production Management Support:


  • In conjunction with and under the general direction of Process engineer, control manufacturing of fragrance products, material flow, and inventory to achieve cost and quality targets and production schedules of the assigned production line(s), ensuring compliance of standards.

  • Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data and performs calculation to determine manufacturing processes, tools and manpower requirements.

  • Solve problems using a combination of standard or modified procedures.

  • Increase agility of our processes to improve our customer services

  • Analyze data to be able to propose production tank changes

  • Support testing for system changes

  • Ensure EHS is at the center of our focus, developing sustainable and safe solutions


EHS responsibilities:


  • Ensure that the following risk assessments are completed, and safety gaps are addressed and closed before startup: process, equipment and machinery hazards, chemical processes hazards, fire and explosion hazards, jobs/tasks hazards

  • Ensure that any project, such as CAPEX projects, addresses safety aspects right from the start.

  • Report instantly to their immediate supervisor and to the local EHS manager any undesired situation which they have reason to believe could present a hazard and which they cannot correct themselves.

  • Report any incident, accident, injury to health or nearmiss which arises in the course of, or in connection with work.

  • Ensure that third-party employees intervening on-site under their area of responsibility have received appropriate training and competencies before they are active on assignments

Your success profile includes:


  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related discipline.

  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Lean Manufacturing and/ or Six Sigma a plus.

  • Proficiency in SAP and other necessary department systems an advantage

  • Proficiency in data analysis

  • Fluency (oral, written) in French and English
