Senior Business Development Leader, Asia Key Accounts and Partners

Mission / Responsibilities
  • You are selling smart grid solutions to distribution system operators and industrial-network operators in the APAC region. You do so directly for key accounts, and in close collaboration with partners across the market. You personally meet your contacts on a regular basis.
  • You are focusing on acquiring new customers as well as managing the existing ones.
  • You elaborate customer proposals, customised as needed, and lead the technical and commercial negotiations all the way to signature.
  • You support marketing activities (e.g. events, conferences and trade shows).
Desired qualifications
  • You are a proactive, imaginative sales enthusiast. You easily get in contact with prospects and are able to explain the advantages of a sophisticated technology in a complex technical environment. Ideally, you have a solid electrotechnical background.
  • You have a trustworthy business network to Distribution System Operators in the region.
  • You have a hands-on mentality, are a multitasking self-starter, are dedicated and want to create long-lasting business opportunities.
  • You speak Mandarin, other Asian languages would be an advantage. But you don’t only speak the languages, you also have a good sensitivity towards different Asian business cultures. You have a good proficiency in English, both orally and in writing.
  • You have 10 to 15 years of experience, including at least, years in the utilities industry across Asia and particularly areas of Chinese culture.
  • You are preferably based in Singapore with frequent travel as needed (50%).
