Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for our locations in Switzerland – Schaffhausen, Pratteln, Rotkreuz and Bevaix, providing HR professional services to a client group of managers and employees. You will be the main point of contact in all HR matters regarding Switzerland and work in the international matrix organisation as well as in all our swiss locations. 

 

Key responsibilities include:


  • Supporting management in implementing established HR policies, procedures, and practices to meet requirements supporting short- and long-term business needs. 

  • Managing administration and implementation of various HR programs and policies such as recruitment, employee training and development, compensation, benefits, performance appraisal and recognition plans. 

  • Working with managers to identify HR issues/problems and provides support in finding solutions. 

  • Central point of contact for global stakeholders

  • Partnering with management to develop and maintain employee relationships to create a respectful working environment for all sites through communication, performance management, and processing grievances and/or disputes.

  • Advising line managers on personnel procedures and precedents. 

  • Investigating and resolves day-to-day employee relations problems, either directly or through advice to line management. 

  • Participating in the recruitment process, placing internal and external ads, narrowing down candidates, and preparing documentation. 

  • Supporting in development, modification and delivery of training programs

  • Documenting human resources activities such as new-hire, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, terminations, etc. 

  • Providing support for administration, basic configuration and maintenance of time & attendance system 

What your background should look like:


  • Bachelor’s degree or above or equivalent experience; HR related major preferred.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Fluent in English, French and German

  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organization 

  • Customer Service mindset; Drive for Results

  • Autonomous; Self-confident and able a high level of multi- tasking 

  • Has served as an HR business partner, generalist or in other HR disciplines (HR Operations/Comp & Benefits/Talent Management) which provided both vertical and horizontal exposure and experience.

  • Detects internal and environmental changes and is able to use available resources in a timely, flexible, affordable and relevant manner, in order to respond to those changes effectively.

  • Must possess substantial knowledge of applicable local employment laws and practices.

  • Experience working in global or international organizations.
