Do you understand the commercial value of data and the added value it may have to our service levels? Then we might be looking for you. As Product Data Content Engineer we challenge you to bring the data quality of our common European assortment to the next level. All so we can service our global customers according to our high standards.
Summary of the role
In this role you will be responsible for the product data of our European common assortment. Our Product Managers define this focus assortment in close cooperation with our business units throughout Europe. Together you determine the (technical) requirements for qualitative product data. You ensure that product information is obtained from our suppliers including compliance documents for mandatory labelling/classification (CE marking, product class, origin/material/safety specifications). Obviously you check and act on keeping this product and technical information up to date. You will support our European Product Managers with the development of statistical data and analysis of product and assortment sales.
Cooperation is key. You coordinate the product master data requirements with our product specialist spread over our business units in Europe. You work closely together with our digital team to make product data available for search purposes internally and externally (guided buying tools). And last but not least, our MDM team is able to process all data in in time, because of your excellent preparatory work.

The suitable candidate has demonstrable experience in content engineering and understands the impact of our data on our customers. You will be part of our ‘Center of Expertise’, so expertise is what you bring to the table. You dare to take initiative and manage to take your role between all European and local departments. You also have:
- A relevant bachelor degree
- At least 3 years of working experience within content engineering, analyzing data and preferably within an industrial environment
- Self-starter, teamplayer, result and service oriented, structured and highly accurate.
- Fluent in English (both verbally and in writing). Knowledge of Dutch, French and/or German is an advantage.
