Summary

As a Product Support Engineer (Software), your mission will be to support the customers and customer service center and interface them with R&D. With strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise especially in the firmware and software fields, you must be capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently, while being detail- and service-oriented and deliver solutions timely. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also helping you to interact across a multidisciplinary team in a high-tech environment.

Responsibilities


Interact with customers and the customer service center
Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues (firmware, software, mobile, web)
Work closely with technical teams to solve problems and enhance the quality of existing products
Manage and monitor customers’ expectations
Proactively propose improvements and measures to maximize product performance and avoid issues on the field
Prepare accurate reports, technical documentation & manuals
Maintain accurate logging of issues and problem fixes
Ensure that lessons learned benefit the company’s quality in all disciplines
Guide, mentor and lead technical staff in ensuring product support
Support and configure solutions for end users

Skills and Qualifications


University degree in Computer Science or Engineering
5+ years of experience as an R&D or product support engineer
Experience with multiple technologies: embedded firmware, mobile, web, cloud
Knowledge of audio signal processing and electronics is a plus
Practice of Jira & Confluence
Fluent English, French a plus
Swiss working permit or EU citizen
