Brand Design Campaign Strategist Manager
Main Purpose:
Works in partnership with the business and functional leadership to create and develop the global corporate
brand strategy for Puma Energy for the company. Particular emphasis on developing and creating the Global
brand plans and campaigns, including strategic partnerships and sponsorships and global campaigns.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
1) Further develop the ‘Energising Communities’ purpose. A critical element will be to develop, discover and
accelerate mechanisms to deploy e.g. Sponsorship, CSR strategy and ESG etc,
2) This strategy will aim to increase Puma Energy’s Brand equity value for the capital market
3) Develop and implement the brand strategies for Puma Energy’s key products and services: covering Retail
Fuels, Convenience / no Fuels Retailing, B2B key sectors and lubricants. Taking into account Market
positions, Competitor landscape, Consumers demands, trends, and insights.
4) Manage the global/regional agency and budget for all ATL Brand & Marketing collateral for Corporate and
LoB communications
5) Further develop the Brand Licensing Platform as an option for growth opportunities as well as options for
retain revenue streams from divestment options (where appropriate) working in partner ship with the Retail
business to support brand and marketing platforms
6) Review and put in place a structured and commercially viable approach to Trademark licensing registration
globally, mitigating and managing potential legal risks in the short and longer term – and improve brand
consistency and cost
7) Act as the Brand Manager for current and future License markets (currently 3-4 markets), and the optimize
revenue from these ventures
8) Manage the registration and maintenance of all trademarks to protect the brands, working with legal to
manage any trademark disputes
9) Develop a global approach to sponsorship and partnership management as part of the Brand strategy
Experience:
- 5-10 years experience in a Brand Design & Campaign Strategist role, ideally in oil products, fuels / lubricants and energy sector
- Worked in a Global organisation, preferably with emerging markets experience
- Developed excellent partnering skills with commercial teams to deliver strategy / plans and campaigns that drive growth

Mandatory Education:

- External – Sustainability Ratings agencies, Non-Governmental Organisations, ESG Investors, External Brand & Marketing organisations and agencies
