Responsibilities
- You supervise all conference and banquet operations according to quality standards
- You manage event planning, develop timelines, and coordinate with other departments
- You organize the work of banquet teams and extras, ensuring their operational follow-up
- You ensure the quality of customer service during the reception and running of events up to 300 covers
- You oversee orders for food, beverages, equipment, and necessary human resources
- You control hygiene, cleanliness of premises, and the work environment in compliance with standards
- You ensure smooth communication between banquet, kitchen, and stewarding departments
- You perform administrative tasks related to the department (reports, invoices, cash register) and participate in internal meetings
Profile sought
- You have successful experience in a similar position in upscale 4/5* hospitality or luxury catering
- You manage complex events with ease and rigor, including exceptional formats
- You master Microsoft Office tools and have good knowledge of banquet management software
- You have an excellent sense of customer service, good interpersonal skills, and a strong ability to manage stress
- You train, supervise, and support your teams with diplomacy, leadership, and team spirit
- You speak fluent French and English; a third language is a plus
