• Work with colleagues across the firm to integrate biodiversity considerations into the firm's business activities, policies and decision-making with an ambition to play a proactive role in protecting precious biodiverse planetary resources and making the case for natural capital financing solutions. 


• Develop and drive the key “Biodiversity & Natural Capital” themes across the bank, such as Green Economy, focusing on conservation, restoration, and sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems and resources and Blue Economy, focusing on marine and freshwater ecosystems and resources.


• Responsible for defining transition strategies for Biodiversity & Natural Capital across sectors and asset classes, and across key banking divisions in Credit Suisse.


• Contribute to thought leadership and act as a Sustainability Subject Matter Expert in the broader community inside and outside of the firm for Biodiversity & Natural Capital.


• Support and engage in multi-stakeholder initiatives which drive measurement, disclosure and integration of biodiversity considerations, contributing to the development of market harmonization and standardization; and we are committed to collaborating with stakeholders to develop and advocate expectations on the management of biodiversity-related risks and impacts.

You Offer

 

• University degree and Maters in the fields of Development Finance and Environmental studies


• At least 10 years of experience in the field of biodiversity, natural capital 


• Experience at operating at both the local and national level


• Good know how in dealing with both the private and public sectors


• Proven experience in in defining transition strategies for Biodiversity 


• Excellent stakeholder management


• Driven and wanting to have an impact


• Fluency in English is a must
