Contribute to the reliability of supplier products at BOBST
You will be responsible for the quality assurance of purchased products, working closely with our suppliers and internal teams to ensure their compliance and performance.
Based at our Mex (VD) industrial site, you will report to the Supplier Quality Manager.
This is a permanent contract, offering cross-functional responsibilities and high visibility.
Integrated into the Procurement Center, which brings together Purchasing, Supply, and Quality activities, you play a key role in the performance and reliability of our supply chain.

Your mission
Ensure a high level of quality and reliability of products purchased by BOBST Mex SA by managing Supplier Quality Assurance activities
, with a particular focus on welded materials
.
Reporting to the Quality department, you are responsible for managing and overseeing a portfolio of suppliers in terms of Quality Assurance.
Your interactions
- External: component, article, and module suppliers.
- Internal: Purchasing, R&D, Industrialization, Quality Control, Production, Supply Chain.
Your key responsibilities
- Technical support: assist R&D in the development and maintenance of articles, participate in the development of test criteria and approval plans.
- Continuous improvement: collaborate with internal teams to optimize product specifications and control protocols.
- Supplier quality management: monitor action plans, conduct process audits, analyze non-conformity costs, and manage credit notes.
- Supplier performance: manage quality KPIs, organize supplier visits, handle qualification and validation phases of parts.
- Selection and approval: participate in pre-selection audits, manage non-conformities.
Profile sought
- Technical or engineering education (mechanical, materials, quality, etc.).
- Experience in defining processes and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in IT tools: SAP, Excel.
- Analytical mindset, sense of priorities, excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent and professional English required, German is a plus.
