What you can achieve

Analyze requirements and derive technical specifications for mechanical components
Create 3D models in CAD (parts/assemblies) and derive technical drawings
Support in the conception of new assemblies
Build functional models and prototypes of medical devices or aspects thereof
Operate the 3D printer including coordination with other teams
Contribute innovative ideas to solve technical issues
Create and maintain (product) articles, article masters, and bills of materials in the PLM system
Support in change management
Close collaboration within the project team and, if necessary, with other internal and external parties, e.g., suppliers, testing laboratories, etc.

What sets you apart

Completed training as a designer
Confident handling of CAD and PLM systems, ideally SolidWorks and Siemens Teamcenter
Knowledge in the construction and design of more complex assemblies
Manual skills (building functional models/prototypes)
Experience operating 3D printers is an advantage
Knowledge of various manufacturing processes
Independent working style combined with a high quality mindset
