Background:

For the Business Operations Team, we are looking for an experienced and structured

Manufacturing Specialist with strong communication skills. You have the opportunity to join

a multinational initiative and team. In this role, as External Manufacturing Specialist you are a member

of the Business Operations team focused on Artworks Management. You act as technical

Subject Matter Expert (SME) for External Manufacturing DP & Devices in Europe and US. Within the

Pharma Technical Operations, the department of External Manufacturing Drug Product & Devices (PTGX) manages and oversees manufacture of Medicines at CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organizations)

as external partners.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Support the Artworks Management activities by acting as interface between CMOs and internal stakeholders with regard to printed packaging material. Oversee, process and

track artwork changes and projects at CMOs

• Act as the primary contact for communications and resolution of artwork-related constraints that

may impact quality and supply of a product

• Ensure on-time availability of regulatory-compliant and technically accurate artwork to health

authorities and the market; keep overview on project progress to support timely availability of new

valid bills of materials

• Represent the CMO organization as Artwork SME in life cycle management teams for launches,

line extensions, transfers and technical changes at contract manufacturers

Professional and technical requirements:

• University degree (Master preferred)
• Three years of experience in Pharma GxP environment
• Two years of Pharma experience in packaging operations, Artworks management
• Experience in Third Party Management
• Fluent in oral and written English
  
  

Personal requirements:

• Able to communicate clearly and effectively in a cross-functional matrix organization and with

external stakeholders (CMOs)

• High level of engagement to understand and solve problems in a cross-functional team
• Technical expertise in technical drawings, ideally experience in pre-press and/or packaging

engineering

• Strong Continuous Improvement mindset
• Comfortable with ambiguity in a variable business scenario
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance required
• Strong quality mindset
