Lifecycle Management Access Lead - Zurich

A truly unique opportunity has arisen in our Global Pricing &
Market Access team with base at Vifor's Headquarters in Zurich: we are
currently recruiting for a Lifecycle Management Access Lead to take full
ownership of lifecycle management access strategy and activities for major
assets.

The main purpose of this role the development and implementation
of strategies and operational plans to successfully manage the period pre- and
post- the loss of brand marketing exclusivity in 2023 (EU). The role will then
focus on later LoE events in geographies outside the EU. Ideal candidates for
this role will have robust recent experience in LoE programmes for 
originator, biosimilars and generic molecule follow-ons.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will work collaboratively with cross-functional
    therapy area teams at Global and country level to support LoE strategy
    implementation
  • All GPMA team members also take responsibility for
    dossier support; this includes continuous refinement of an effective
    value proposition to ensure value pull-through for relevant stakeholders
    such as policymakers, payers, providers, patients and physicians
  • The role includes driving a strong global LoE team
    performance, including the cross-functional support of people, processes
    and infrastructure, while delivering targeted results. 
  • Geographic Scope: initially affiliate markets,
    attention then turns to later lifecycle LoE events in geographies outside
    the EU

In this role you will be accountable to:

  • Develop access strategies, implement measurement
    systems and KPIs to assess the impact of LoE operational activities and
    access programmes 
  • Synthesize and interpret input from cross-functional
    teams to identify and analyse trends and/or changes in the healthcare
    system that will influence payer strategies
  • Build close collaboration with global & local LoE
    & brand teams (Medical, Marketing, Regulatory), GMs and senior
    management, and actively support cross-functional execution on local level
  • Partner with country 3M teams to ensure completion and
    execution of achievable LoE stakeholder engagement plans by country 3M
    teams
  • Provide coaching and consultation on market access
    issues and develop field training support as needed
  • Contribute to the development of a cross-functionally
    integrated LoE strategy.
  • Uphold relationships with key external stakeholders

This role requires: 

  • Experience in originator LoE situations involving
    successful execution of LoE programmes with originator, biosimilar and
    generic follow-ons is a distinct advantage
  • Country role experience, in addition to regional and/or
    global experience
  • Strong demonstrated success in positively influencing
    colleagues in a matrix setting, to achieve targets,
    between global and country teams
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's and/or PhD in
    Healthcare discipline or Business preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience in a healthcare area such as
    patient access, government affairs/public policy, patient advocacy,
    pricing, reimbursement, medical affairs
  • Language requirement: English plus one other language
    preferable
