"I sincerely thank him on behalf of the management and all employees for his extraordinary and long-standing commitment to our customers and to NKB," says Heinrich Leuthard, Chairman of the NKB Executive Board.
Christian Waser communicated his decision to relinquish the presidency and resign from the Bank Council early. Thus, the Nidwalden government council was able to present his successor, Daniel Bieri, as early as January 2020. Daniel Bieri has been a member of the Bank Council since 2008 and Vice President of the Bank Council since 2010. The 53-year-old investment specialist and certified business economist works for a nationally active insurance company in Lucerne and lives with his family in Stans. Daniel Bieri will assume his new role as Bank Council President on July 1, 2020.
