For an external customer project in the greater Zurich / Kriens area, we are looking for an experienced, competent personality for the role of DevOps Engineer at senior level (5-8 years) from 05.01.2026
Main tasks:
Become part of a team that actively shapes innovation and offers customers real added value. Together with IT experts, product owners, and partners, you drive further developments and ensure the successful deployment of new solutions. Our focus is on the operation and further development of Finnova components in private and public cloud environments using the latest technologies. You take responsibility – from customer orders to new applications to the integration of entire banks – and ensure stable operation within the team, including 7x24h on-call service.

- Working with market-leading open-source technologies in the operation of Finnova and container-based applications
- Practical training, exciting projects, and continuous development within the team
- Automation and optimization of workloads with Jenkins, GitLab Pipelines & Co.
- Independent analysis and resolution of problems as well as ensuring stable operation
Tasks & Requirements (content, methodology, technology):
- Solid know-how in Kubernetes / OpenShift as well as handling KRM tools (e.g., Helm, Kustomize)
- Experience with automation of workloads and operation of databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) as well as messaging and security solutions (Kafka, Keycloak)
- Analytical skills, strong self-organization, and enjoyment of teamwork
- Willingness for on-call duties and residence in Switzerland
- Experience in the fintech environment is an advantage
- German: very good knowledge
- English: good knowledge
