As part of the Education Directorate of the Canton of Zurich, the Office for Youth and Career Counselling is responsible for the services in the field of child and youth welfare as well as career counselling. Children, young people and families are at the centre of our work. We dedicate ourselves to them daily with great passion and commitment.
For the Child and Youth Welfare Centre (kjz) Horgen, we are looking for an Administration Employee from 1 September 2026.
Your tasks
- Processing in the areas of social work and mother/father counselling
- Editing demanding reports and applications as well as submitting requests to foundations
- Assisting with the organisation of events
- Telephone and personal contact with those seeking advice as well as other internal and external bodies
- Correspondence and general secretarial duties
Your profile
- Completed commercial basic training EFZ (profile E or M) as well as at least two years of professional experience
- Confident German language skills in spoken and written form
- High IT affinity
- Service-oriented, structured and efficient way of working
- Resilient and sensitive in dealing with people in difficult situations
- Humorous and team-oriented
- Thursday and Friday are mandatory working days
