At our location in Rheinbreitbach (near Cologne, Bonn, Koblenz), we are looking for a Product Manager (m/f/d) / Project Engineer (m/f/d) for our Coding Systems business unit. As a new team member, you will work closely with the departments of marketing, engineering, and sales.
These are your tasks
- In product management, based on your analyses of the market and the product (including software and consumables), you identify improvement potentials throughout the entire product lifecycle, initiate them, and monitor their success.
- You define the requirements for product development and contribute to the design of new products.
- You cooperate with our marketing team for joint planning, implementation, and optimization of marketing activities (internet, trade fairs, brochures, demo systems) for product launches and ongoing sales. You create the necessary product documentation for this.
- Additionally, you develop specific training programs and conduct training using modern methods.
- You analyze order successes and losses to plan, initiate, and monitor improvement measures.
- Your main task in project planning is to develop concepts to solve demanding customer projects, possibly together with contacts in engineering.
- In this context, you support sales in clarifying these projects and, in special cases, visit our customers together with sales.
- You review specifications and prepare technical offers as well as requirement specifications.
- You are responsible for the technical coordination of these projects during the implementation phase.
What we expect from you

- Completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable qualification with several years of professional experience
- Experience in device project planning and product management desired
- Very good technical understanding and imagination
- Sales- and customer-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills and structured working style
- Very good German and English, spoken and written
