Your tasks
- Co-responsible for processing routine tests for customer service and R&D
- Independent planning and execution of microbiological analyses regarding biofilm formation, control and spread, living conditions, and adaptation strategies
- Ensuring the operational readiness of the instruments/devices used
- Active participation in international congresses and symposia
- Reporting to the head of microbiology
Your profile
- Completed training as a biological laboratory technician or degree in biology (BSc, MSc) with an interest in environmental microbiology
- Comprehensive knowledge of general microbiological and/or molecular biological methods
- Experience working with biofilms and/or fungal cultures is an advantage
- Experience in developing or adapting new laboratory methods is a plus
- Willingness to adopt creative approaches from scientific publications and adapt them to the specific conditions of cooling lubricants
- Very good knowledge of German and English - any additional language is an advantage
