- Purchasing of products and services
- Participation in product launches (with Strategic Business Unit)
- Optimization of purchasing conditions and supply chain costs
- Conduct supplier evaluations and qualifications
- Ensure compliance (e.g., RoHS/Reach/WEEE) for the assigned areas
- Rolling planning/forecast with key suppliers
- Disposition of stock materials considering company/area/department goals as well as parameterization in SAP for optimal availability
- Conduct inventory analyses and inventory optimizations
- Recording, maintenance, and changes of SAP material and other purchasing master data
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Participation in departmental and/or cross-departmental projects
- Management of purchasing projects
- Team deputizing
- High customer satisfaction and enthusiasm for your actions
What you bring
- Completion of a commercial or technical basic education with further training as a purchasing specialist
- Confident handling of MS Office applications
- Experience with SAP MM module is an advantage
- Independent, efficient, and conscientious working style with consistent problem-solving orientation
- Lots of drive and joy in continuous development as well as a pinch of persistence
- Communication in German, French, and English spoken and written desired (Level B2/C1)
- Strong customer and service orientation
