The district council is the judicial appellate authority in the area of child and adult protection and the first instance of appeal against decisions of municipal authorities. In addition, the district council supervises the activities of the municipal authorities and special-purpose associations. It consists of the president, who also acts as the governor, as well as two members and two deputy members, and is administratively and professionally supported by the district council office.
We are looking for a female or male lawyer 70% immediately or by arrangement. We want to enable our employees to easily change their employment level. However, the scope of employment for this position is fixed and cannot be otherwise agreed. The position is permanent.
Your tasks
- Independently conduct appeal procedures in all areas of responsibility of the district council (child and adult protection law, municipal law, social assistance law, school law, personnel law, political rights, and Lex Koller)
- Independently prepare motions for decisions and judgments in all areas of responsibility of the district council
- Deputize for the council clerk during her absence
Your profile
- Completed studies as a lawyer (MLaw / lic. iur.)
- Professional experience in public administration and/or at a court (preferably as a court clerk)
- Independent, efficient, and precise working style
- Confident German language skills and editorial abilities
- Willingness and ability to engage and quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of law
- Teamwork and collegiality
