About the job

In the Winterthur-Seen city district, around 550 students from kindergarten to 6th grade attend the Tägermoos primary school in 26 classes. The modern QUIMS school with a school island is well-structured and development-oriented. "Inspire a passion for learning – enrich each other through diversity – treat everyone with respect" are the guiding principles of the Tägermoos school. We are looking for a substitute teacher starting December 3, 2025, or by arrangement, who will teach in a second and third primary school class (3 WL each) divided over two or three mornings, preferably Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings, or by arrangement. The temporary position can last until the spring holidays.

Your Tasks

Teaching students targeted and guided acquisition of German as a second language

Professional collaboration with other teachers, special education teachers, the class team, the pedagogical and interdisciplinary teams, parents, and school management

Active participation in school development

Working with individual children, groups, or half-classes in coordination with the teacher

Considering and promoting language competence with the language processing areas of the DaZ subject curriculum (listening, reading and reading comprehension, speaking, writing, and language(s) in focus)

Your Profile

EDK-recognized teaching diploma

CAS course "German as a Second Language" or proven experience in the DaZ field

Interest in close collaboration

Creative personality who passes on their enthusiasm to the children

Solution-oriented person with an integrative attitude
