Your role

During the two years of traineeship, you are able to dive into various parts of our business. Depending on your future plans and what you bring along, we offer two tracks within our Program and the corresponding ability to make an impact in our growing organization!
Technology Track could include steps in areas like Research and Development, Operations, Compliance or Project Management
Corporate Track could include steps like Controlling, Business Development or Strategy and M&A.
During the Program, you will enter four different departments, each with six months of duration. One of these steps is supposed to be in a different country than the one you are based within and the willingness to spend six months there is a pre-requisite. Our company is present in Switzerland, Spain, USA, Malta, France, Germany and China.
The assignments cover fascinating projects where you will walk on new paths. We will assign you projects that come directly from the business and where you can make a difference with your experience and brain power. You can make a difference at Siegfried!
After the successful completion of our Siegfried International Graduate Program as the fundament of your further career in our company, you are able to take over more responsibility in an expert- or leadership role in future.

Your profile

Your experience* Above average PhD degree, ideally in Organic Chemistry, Pharmacology or related fields paired with some practical experience within disciplines like Bio-engineering, Economic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Food Technology or Physics* Business Fluency in English and ideally good German language skills. Further languages like French or Spanish are an advantage
Soft Skills* High affinity to business topics, as we look for holistically thinking personalities* A global mindset and intercultural affinity (visible with internships or student jobs) * International mobility underlines your potential

We serve a broad global customer base from major international pharmaceutical companies down to small biologic-pharmaceutical organizations. For them we develop and produce product innovations on a large scale to finished products. We integrate our offer seamlessly into the customers' value chain.

What we do in Zofingen

Zofingen is the hub of the Siegfried Group. The production facility at our Zofingen headquarters supplies our customers around the globe with exemplary Swiss quality. The Siegfried company is a popular employer in the Zofingen region, where we meet our social responsibility by training apprentices.
