About the job
You can expect a varied and exciting role as a Risk Management Specialist focusing on FINMA's own risks. In this exciting position, you report directly to the CRO.
- You support the development and maintenance of the risk appetite, risk taxonomy, and risk policy of FINMA.
- You contribute to the establishment of effective risk governance and continuously develop it while promoting a strong risk culture.
- You prepare the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) report for management and relevant stakeholders.
- You conduct comprehensive risk assessments at various organisational and technical levels and develop appropriate measures with risk owners to minimise risks.
- You create and maintain suitable monitoring and reporting frameworks to transparently visualise corporate risks.
- You have a university or university of applied sciences degree with a business administration background or equivalent education and training.
- You bring 2-5 years of experience in ERM, risk governance, risk policy, risk appetite, and risk taxonomy, ideally in the banking sector.
- You possess strong communication skills and can present content clearly, concisely, and comprehensibly, both to internal stakeholders and management.
- You combine conceptual strength, quick comprehension, and innovative power to develop new frameworks in an environment with limited benchmarks.
- You are proactive, a team player, pragmatic, and able to make, represent, and implement fact-based decisions.
- You have excellent German skills (C2) and good French skills (B1).
