Objective:

Reporting directly into the group CFO, located in Dubai, the Finance Director is acting as the interface between the senior management and our entities in France, Switzerland and Germany.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Entities in Switzerland / Germany:

  • Liaisoning with banks on day-to-day basis with regards to financing facilities, organising and leading meetings
  • Prepare and submit various reports and documents for banking purposes as and when required
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlords
  • Cooperating with external Auditors for smooth and timely completion of annual financial audits
  • Handling VAT declarations and Compliance of Income Taxes
  • Coordination of finance matters

Entities in France:

  • Managing & Heading the Finance department
  • Liaisoning with banks on day-to-day basis with regards to financing facilities, organising and leading meetings
  • Prepare and submit various reports and documents for banking purposes as and when required
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlords
  • Cooperating with external Auditors for smooth and timely completion of annual financial audits
  • Handling VAT declarations and Compliance of Income Taxes
  • Managing Finance and Accounting matters of the French entities

Pre-requisites:

Skills & Competencies

  • Fluent in English, German and French is mandatory (written & spoken)
  • Swiss-German is a big plus
  • Outstanding communication skills, interpersonal abilities and intercultural competencies
  • Ability to handle time-sensitive and high-confidential tasks
  • Forward thinking and strong negotiation skills
  • Leadership skills

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree focused on finance, accounting or economics
  • 8-10 years’ experience in similar position and in an international environment
  • Solid knowledge of Swiss, German and French VAT plus Income Taxes
  • Sound knowledge of Accounting (France)
  • Knowledge in finance functions & procedures (France, Germany, Switzerland)
