For our client at the location Kallnach we are looking for the earliest possible date a Development Engineer Refrigeration Technology with Leadership Potential

Your profile:

• Technical design and cost calculation for individual large heat pump systems

• Technological further development and modularization of standardized and custom-made refrigeration machines, including contemporary introduction of new refrigerants according to the Chemicals Risk Reduction Ordinance

• Coordination with sales, purchasing, assembly, and service in a decentralized network distributed across all three language regions of Switzerland

• Preparation of production orders in coordination with the development team and production management, project management, and coordination with suppliers

• Development of test procedures for quality assurance

• Provision of PED certification (DGRL) according to the applicable Pressure Equipment Directive for individual refrigeration machines

• Safety-related design and documentation according to requirements for the respective installation site

• Technical support for installed refrigeration systems for service technicians and customers

• Deputy leadership of personnel and optimization of workflows

Background and Mindset:

• Senior level with relevant education (MSc./HF) in the field of refrigeration technology / heat engines / HVAC

• Experience with the assessment of conformity of assemblies and the overall system according to the Pressure Equipment Directive (OPTIONAL)

• Solution- and service-oriented attitude towards colleagues and customers

• Leadership experience or leadership potential (team <10 employees)

• Structured working method with traceably documented decisions and data transfers

• Responsible prioritization and clear communication for successful task coordination

• Positive hands-on attitude towards new workflows, technologies, and tools that support organic growth of the company
