Head of Railway Construction (80-100%)
Your role with us
- You take overall responsibility for the Railway Construction department – from leading employees to resource procurement
- You plan, calculate, and coordinate the annual construction program including the responsible internal and external specialist offices and ensure smooth operations
- You lead projects in maintenance, preservation, and new construction of railway infrastructure – from planning to successful implementation
- You optimize processes and are responsible for procurement and maintenance of the machinery fleet – with a focus on efficiency and CO₂ neutrality
- You act as an expert in civil engineering topics related to railway infrastructure and competently advise internal and external stakeholders
What convinces us
- A completed university of applied sciences degree in road, track, or civil engineering – or in a related field
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in a construction department – you motivate, develop, and lead your team with conviction
- Solid knowledge in the field of railway and track systems as well as experience in urban road and track construction
- You make clear decisions and stand for quality and punctuality
- You think strategically, develop forward-looking concepts, and successfully implement them together with other departments
