What you can achieve
- Independent planning and coordination of surgery appointments including assignment of the responsible surgeons
- Organization and maintenance of weekly and duty schedules for doctors and the admin team (including emergency service, planning in the time tracking system, and absence management)
- Complex appointment and patient coordination as well as administrative support by phone, reception, and email
- Review and processing of surgery registrations, preliminary examinations, and cost approvals
- Close collaboration and communication with patients as well as with doctors and internal departments
- Recording and maintenance of administrative data, including service recording and electronic documentation
What you bring with you
- Training as MPA, TOA, clinic secretary, medical secretary, or nursing professional with completed further training as medical secretary
- Hospital or practice experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage
- Quick comprehension as well as an uncomplicated, assertive personality
- Ability to keep an overview and set priorities correctly even in hectic situations
