Our Business Unit Pharmaceutical Systems is one of the world's leading manufacturers of pharmaceutical primary packaging and analytical lab services. More than 600 production lines in 13 countries worldwide produce more than 10 billion syringes, vials, ampoules, cartridges and special articles of tubing glass or polymer.

Then, it is time that you join us as (Senior) Process Engineer* specialized in Hot Forming in our Business Unit Pharmaceutical Systems. You will be located in St. Gallen within our global R&D department, starting immediately.

You are our innovator and expert in glass hot forming.

You develop state-of-the-art hot forming processes with internal and external partners, define requirements for new equipment and secure related intellectual property.

You bring new hot forming equipment into operation and support FAT/SAT until transfer to production.

You execute complex innovation, customer specific and industrialization projects from idea all the way to transfer to our production sites worldwide.

You are responsible to plan technical work packages and deliver them according to quality, delivery and cost targets, in alignment with your project manager.

You qualify and validate equipment and processes according to our development process and regulations.

Travelling to global production sites and suppliers can be up to 30%.

Degree in Engineering with mechanical or mechatronic basic knowledge

Several years of working experience in the development or automation of new manufacturing processes or equipment

Knowledge and experience with glass processes like hot forming, statistical data analysis and problem solving (Six Sigma certification is a plus)

Knowledge of equipment and process qualification and validation as well as related standards and regulations (21 CFR 820; ISO 13485; ISO 15378)

Fluent in English and German (written and spoken) with good interpersonal and communication skills

Structured working style and ability to plan and prioritize technical activities

Creativity and ability to think out of the box and generate intellectual property
