Good for life– that is our motto. The Office for Youth and Career Counseling (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as career counseling. Children, adolescents, and families are at the center of our work. We dedicate ourselves to them daily with great passion and commitment.
The kjz (Child and Youth Welfare Center) is a polyvalent counseling center for families, parents, adolescents, children, and toddlers and operates based on the Child and Youth Welfare Act of the Canton of Zurich.
We are looking to complement our team from April 1, 2026, or by arrangement with a mother and father counselor.
Your tasks include:
- Advising, accompanying, and supporting parents in their parenting role and in questions of health, nutrition, development, and education
- Providing parents with security and promoting their skills in dealing with their children
- Collaborating with other professional or counseling centers as well as triage
- Developing and leading group offerings
- Participating in the project "Mother Tongue Support"
- Administrative tasks such as system entry of client data and maintaining statistics
- Participation in projects
You bring the following:
- A completed education as a certified nursing professional HF with a focus on KJFF or as a midwife and at least 2 years of professional experience
- Experience as a mother and father counselor
- Completed training as a mother and father counselor NDS or willingness to complete the HFP Early Childhood Counselor training
- Independent and resilient personality with high social competence and openness to different cultures
- Good organizational and administrative skills
- Driver's license
