Maternity cover Project Manager Communication 80 - 100%In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Economy (AWI) in the Economic Directorate of the Canton of Zurich contributes to strengthening the economic location Zurich. The Location Promotion division is a service provider and contact point for questions concerning the economic location, from company formation to innovation promotion.
For Location Promotion, we are looking for a committed and experienced Project Manager Communication as maternity cover from March 1, 2026, limited until the end of November 2026, who will continue our communication projects with energy and creativity.
Your main tasks:
- Maintenance and further development of websites and social media channels (Cantonal website, Innovation Zurich, LinkedIn)
- Content design and production of communication materials
- Empowerment and advice of the team on marketing and communication topics
- Planning, organization, and execution of strategically relevant events, such as the «Innovation Zurich Event» and the «Day of the Location»
- Management and supervision of an intern in the area of content management
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in German studies, journalism, or economics with a focus on communication
- Proven professional experience in communication work, ideally in the public or business-related environment
- Winning and authentic appearance and communication skills with a confident sense for different target groups
- Innovative and creative personality with a high standard for quality and impact
- Strategic and holistic thinking and acting as well as the ability to manage projects conceptually and operationally
- High implementation and decision-making skills as well as an independent, structured way of working
