We are looking to hire a Corporate Senior Business Analyst Logistics (MyPA2020) to be the lead representative for the Logistics function in the development of an enhanced framework of IT applications to support customer visibility and supply chain management (operations) in sync with core systems (product, financial, etc…). The person will represent the assigned product/function and the corresponding workgroup in the myPA2020 project including direct collaboration with peers from other participating products and functions to develop a cross product and function solution focused on delivering an industry leading customer experience.


• Expertly represent the assigned product/function assuring customer requirements, industry standards and internal efficiencies are captured and delivered within the myPA2020 project

• Manage application development project(s) as part of myPA2020: analyze, design, develop, test, implement, manage & support

• Be the counterpart for internal or external software development teams including ultimate authority on product/function specific developments

• Engage, audit and interview perspective 3rd party software to assure best in class against industry peers and competitive 3rd party application providers

• Assure contracts and SLA’s take in to consideration the industry specific requirements of the assigned product/function such as timeliness, systemic availability, functionality, etc…

• Interact with global development functions and assure requirements specific to Logistics are captured, translated and developed as part of the project

• Perform Application Impact Analysis (AIA) as required

• Ensure adherence with IMS guidelines

• Engage with product management on development strategies

• Administrate and maintain business and process documentation that serves as the basis for the solution design and corresponding technical documentation

• Develop training material to support ultimate roll out of operational requirements and usage guidelines for the developed tools

• Organize hand-over and technical training for local IT and systems & processes organizations


• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration/Economics/Logistics or freight forwarding apprenticeship (or working equivalent)

• 5-10 years of overall industry experience (minimum)

• 3-5 years of experience in working with system solutions for forwarding and logistics services

• International working experience preferred

• Profound knowledge of operational systems of the assigned product/function and industry requirements

• Profound knowledge of forwarding and Supply Chain Management Systems

• Profound knowledge of supply chain visibility applications and corresponding functionality

• Profound knowledge of project management methodologies


• Integrate and coordinate resources across functions and boundaries

• Building and using networks

• Being open to outside input and sharing knowledge and expertise

• Drive projects in time defined collaborative manner

• Understand and translate business requirements in to technical specifications

• Manage change programs and deal with ambiguity

• Analyze, conceptualize and train


• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Other languages (written and spoken) preferred
